An amazing crepe jersey mermaid gown by Oscar De la Renta that skims over the body and is not meant to be skin tight, yet manages to emphasize every curve. It is long and lean in all the right ways. It is constructed with long vertical panels of fabric that are all cut on the bias so the gown will move to fit your curves. I love the gathered detailing at the front and the way the skirt is cut so it falls in softly rounded folds. The color makes a strong impact and yet it is simple and subtle at the same time. The back is slightly longer then the front so it creates a bit of a train effect. This is the dress for when you want to look and feel a mile tall and supermodel skinny!! Really one of my favorites pieces and in excellent, unworn condition.
